CDBG-CV funds are for rental, mortgage and/or utility financial assistance for Lexington County residents that have fallen upon financial hardship due to COVID-19.  Renters and homeowners affected by COVID-19 may apply for up to six consecutive months of short-term rental, mortgage and/or utility assistance.  Eligible applicants must be Lexington County Residents, must have an annual income that is at or below the 80% Area Median Income, are past due in their rent, mortgage and/or utilities or unable to pay all or part of their rent, mortgage and/or utilities due to circumstances stemming from the Coronavirus. Applicants must not have received assistance from another funding source. For application questions or submittals please email cdcustomerservice@lex-co.com or call 803-785-8121.
