Type 2 diabetes has long been thought of as a long term progressive condition. But does it have to be this way? Through our research funding, Diabetes UK has led the way in exploring the potential of remission from type 2 diabetes. This talk will explore what remission is and what it means for people with type 2 diabetes. We will look at how research has begun to change how we think about type 2 diabetes, and the different ways type 2 diabetes can be put into remission. And we will talk about what this all means for people living with type 2 diabetes.

Matt Hopkins, Outcome Programme Manager (Diabetes UK)
