Prince George's County Census completion rate is currently at 67.3% and the last day to complete it is on September 30th! District 3 has 7 Census Tracts that are below the County response rate percentage. We need your help to increase these numbers so that we get the correct allocation of resources for our residents.

We especially need people who are able to speak/understand some Spanish and/or Middle Eastern languages.

In partnership with Community Relations from County Executive Angela Alsobrooks' office we are asking for volunteers to help our outreach efforts. We've identified targeted areas where we think will be the most effective to help residents complete the Census survey. You will have the opportunity to select days you are available to attend a food distribution site or other location in District 3 where you will encourage residents to complete the Census on the spot. This outreach activity includes using a clipboard with instructions for residents to read and providing a QR code for them to scan and use their own electronic device to complete the survey. We will practice social distancing guidelines and have safety gear (face shields, mask, gloves, and sanitizer, etc.) available for you to use when interacting with residents.

We can train you on site and will send you a recorded training in advance of your volunteer slot.
