This is what the app does:
* Documentation of symptoms after vaccination with a corona vaccine
* Recording of the tolerance of different corona vaccines
* Contribution to combating the corona pandemic


New vaccines are tested for effectiveness and safety in randomized clinical trials before they are approved. However, the populations are not always comparable and rare side effects can go undetected. Furthermore, it is not possible to directly compare the extent, intensity and range of side effects of different vaccines in the same patient collective. This app is intended to provide a better overview of the tolerability and possible as yet unrecognized or rarely occurring symptoms after vaccination with one of the new corona vaccines and to record possible differences in the spectrum and intensity of side effects of different vaccines against COVID-19. For this purpose, this app contains a questionnaire on frequently occurring side effects with vaccinations with given answer options. In addition, there is the option of using a free text field to record side effects that have occurred in connection with the vaccination, but not covered by the questionnaire. The app is also used to document the course of the vaccination and the side effects that occur, which can then be presented to the attending physician if necessary.
After vaccination with one of the corona vaccines, we ask you to record your well-being and any symptoms every day for 4 weeks. These are transferred pseudonymously to a server at Ulm University.
With your help, we hope to improve the recording of the relative frequencies, times and types of symptoms that may occur after receiving the vaccination.
