Kick off Curriculum planning with Universal Design to Learning with CEC

"The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is a community of educators and partners in learning dedicated to advancing the success of students with exceptionalities. CEC's mission is to improve, through excellence and advocacy, the education and quality of life for children and youth with exceptionalities and/or special needs and to enhance engagement of their families.” (NYS CEC) New York State Council for Exceptional Children is partnering with the Greater Capital Region Teacher Center to support high quality education services for children with exceptional needs. Through this partnership we aspire to connect our higher education community with current practitioners to support the induction of teachers in their first years of service! Together we can build bridges between research and practice and engage in collegial mentorship. This webinar will review how educators can use Universal Design for Learning to meet the needs of diverse students and the major components of UDL.
