Canning Community Survey
The City of Canning is looking to review its current ‘People with Disabilities – Access and Inclusion’ policy, which was last revised in 2009. As part of the review, the City wishes to engage with people living within the local government area, particularly people with disabilities, as well as people who identify as:

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander;
culturally and linguistically diverse; or
LGBTQIA+.
Inclusion Solutions, on behalf of the City of Canning, will be interviewing people in the City of Canning and running focus groups to explore the current policy and get feedback in order to co-design recommendations for the future.

Inclusion Solutions is a not-for-profit organisation that works with over 650 clubs, 30 State Sporting Associations, and 60 WA Local Government Authorities to help make communities inclusive and more welcoming of people with disabilities, and people who are under-represented in the community. We employ an asset-based community development approach which focuses on sustainable development of communities based on their strengths and potentials (as opposed to deficits or weaknesses).

Please provide as much information as you can on the following questions. If you would like to provide more detailed feedback, please email Jennifer at consultant@inclusionsolutions.org.au
