'I knew I'd given it my all': Lakota West's Evelyn Prodoehl brings home DI state title

The OHSAA cross-country state championships are in the books and the Cincinnati area was well-represented on the podium.

One clear standout was Lakota West's Evelyn Prodoehl who finished at the top of the Division I girls race with a time of 17:23.77. The runner in second place, Ursuline's Bentley Thomas, came in 27.67 seconds later.

Mason boys and girls finished high in the Division I team standings with the boys placing second and the girls finishing third. Madeira girls finished fifth as a team in the Division III race.
