Please join us for a panel of “been there, done that” experts on integrated housing opportunities.  Our panel will feature guests who will share their personal experience finding integrated housing for people with disabilities, navigating housing subsidies to make rent affordable, figuring out roommates, finding live in staff, and more!  They are focusing on housing options that are available right now.  They will spend a good portion of the time answering questions, so bring your curiosity. 

Panelists’ Backgrounds:

• Individual on the Waiver Waiting List using rent assistance and a live-in aide for staff
• Service provider who worked with individuals who have Waiver services and Arlington Housing Grants to find roommates
• Parent of a woman who has a developmental disability who is not Waiver eligible, but wanted to move out and live with roommates
• Non-profit housing developer with leasing preference for people with DD Waivers or on the Waiting List
