Date and time

Fri, 18 Oct 2019 17:30 - 21:00 GMT+1

Location

'The Deck'

Hawker House Canada Street Rotherhithe SE16 7PJ United Kingdom

Description

The Association for Language Learning, London Branch, is delighted to be able to 'welcome aboard' PGCE students, trainee teachers and NQTs to a Friday evening at 'The Deck', Hawker House, to meet others who are setting off on their exciting ML teaching voyage!

This is a free event thanks to the generous sponsorship of Linguascope.

Arrive any time from 5.30 pm for the 6pm short presentation from ALL London 'crew' members about ALL (the only independent professional language association which puts you in touch with other teachers, keeps you informed, and is invited to national-level consultations), and about what is being planned for the year.

After this, we hope you will stay for as short or long a time as you wish to socialise with people who are 'in the same boat' as you over free cocktails at this trendy venue.

Please sign up here on Eventbrite to help with our catering and printing and to ensure that you get your free goodie bag and 'Top Tips for Teachers' booklet. We look forward to meeting you!

Please note that places are limited: sign up in advance to attend and book early to avoid disappointment! We can scan you in from your printed or electronic ticket.

Please help us by letting us know in advance if you cannot use the ticket so that your ticket can be released to others.

Thanks for your cooperation!

Organised by

We are the London branch of the national  Association for Language Learning. (ALL)  See our website for full details and follow us on Twitter and Facebook.

We organise regular London-based events throughout the year for local members to encourage close and sustainable networking between  people.  We are inclusive!  Although we strongly encourage people to join ALL which supports work done at a national level,  our events are open to all those who care about language learning, and we love it when people join us from other parts of the country (or the world!)

Our local events  complement events organised at a national level.   An enthusiastic and lively committee plans the  events  as shown by the online diary.  Please  contact us for further information in any way which suits you best.
