Examining Y-STR Ranges for Known Relationships
I am trying to collect a large data set of Y-STR results for KNOWN relationships, in order to quantify ranges for future analysis. Aggregated results (i.e., ranges but not emails) will be made publicly available in order to benefit all genealogists.

For example, if you've tested or found a Y-STR match that is known or confirmed to be a third cousin, what is the genetic distance with that third cousin? The answer below will be "3C" and the genetic distance might be "2" at 67 markers.

If you've tested at 67 or 111 markers, PLEASE DO (AS IN YES!) ALSO SUBMIT the data for the smaller marker amounts. For example, if you've tested at 111 markers, you can also submit a response for 37 and 67 markers for that relationship.

People that submit a Y-STR result before September 15, 2019 will be entered in a drawing for a FREE 67-marker Y-DNA test from Family Tree DNA (or an upgrade to -67 or -111 markers if you've already tested).

The Known PATRILINEAL (Y-DNA) Relationship *
What is the relationship of the two individuals? (Ex. Brothers, Father/Son, Grandparent/Grandson, 1C for first cousin, 2C1R for second cousin once removed, 7C for seventh cousin, etc.). If the two individuals have another relationship, please report ONLY the Y-DNA relationship!
How Many Markers Are Being Compared? *
How many markers are being compared for the two people? In the image below, the arrow points to "111 Markers." You may also have tested at 37 or 67 markers. We are NOT collecting data for 12 markers in this survey.

What is the Genetic Distance? *
What is the Genetic Distance between the two related men? In the image below, the arrow points to "1" in the Genetic Distance column of the Y-STR results at Family Tree DNA.

ONLY IF YOU'VE DONE BIG Y TESTING
If you've also done Big Y testing for these two related Y-DNA test-takers, what is the number in the "Big Y STR Differences" column (as shown in the image below)? PLEASE only provide the answer as shown in the image (ex. 1 of 434). If you plan to make multiple submissions for this relationship (ex. 37, 67, and 111 markers), please only submit the Big Y result ONCE! Thank you!

Notes
Only if absolutely necessary, note if there anything special about this relationship or these results.
What is Your Email Address?
If you'd like to be entered in the drawing for a free Y-67 DNA test at Family Tree DNA (to be drawn on September 15, 2019), or be able to later get a list of your own submissions, please provide an email address.
