As diversity in the round table's leadership helps ensure that it creates diverse services which meet the needs of all in our communities, YART is committed to fostering intentional equity, diversity, and inclusion when appointing individuals to serve on reading list committees and other voluntary positions in the round table. YART seeks to be an inclusive and welcoming organization which encourages diversity of ideas and thought. We invite participation from individuals of all ethnicities, countries of origin, gender identities and expressions, ages, abilities, religions, sexual orientations, physical appearances, body sizes, economic backgrounds, scholarly or professional backgrounds, employment, and other differences. We also seek degreed and non-degreed participants from both school, public, academic, and special libraries.
