The Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with Women in Science, Engineering and Technology (WISET) Lesotho Chapter is embarking on a survey on women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in Lesotho. The overall purpose of the study is to conduct a comprehensive assessment of women's experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Through the data collected in various sections of the study, the department aims to gain insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by women in STEM, their research interests, career progression, and the effectiveness of support systems and work environments available to them. The study seeks to inform evidence-based policies, initiatives, and interventions that promote gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in STEM fields, ultimately fostering an empowering environment for women and increasing their representation and success in STEM careers.
