FREE INCOMING 9th GRADE SUMMER BRIDGE PROGRAM: Morton West offers an opportunity for incoming freshmen students to increase their math, reading, and writing skills and earn high school credit free of charge through our Summer Bridge Program. The program helps students transition to high school who are in need of extra academic support.
Dates: There are 2 sessions. Student may only take 1 session of Summer Bridge since both sessions will cover the same content.
June Session: Thursday, June 8th - Friday, June 30th (No School June 16th & 19th) from 7:45am - 4:15pm.
July Session: Monday, July 10th - Friday, July 28th from 7:45am - 4:15pm.
Due to the Title I Grant funding, no Special Education services are available in the Summer Bridge Program. If they think your child will be successful in a classroom without their typical Special Education services, then we would love to have them in the program!
Courses are scheduled to meet five days per week, Monday through Friday. A student will earn a ½ credit for each course taken. We recommend students take both Math and English which will earn them 1 full credit. For more information, call 708-780-4100 x3016
