West Mountain Clinic and Races CANCELLED - January 6-7 

Minus33 Eastern Telemark Series

USTSA and West Mountain will host the Reliable Racing Telemark Sprint Classic Races, the first stop of the Minus33 Eastern Telemark Series, on January 6th and 7th, 2018. These 2 run events will include GS gates, a Nordic style jump, a 360-degree banked turn, before a short Nordic skate.

There will be race categories for everyone:

• Junior - ages 17 and younger
• Citizen - ages 18 and older, including Masters
• Expert - all ages

• Speedsuits and experience are not required.
• Helmets are required. Competitors in the Expert Category MUST have helmets with hard ear coverings.  All other competitors are encouraged to have helmets with hard ear coverings.
• Bring your Nordic skate poles to help with the skate.

Come join us for two day of skiing and fun!  If you haven't tried racing before with jumps, gates and skating, this is your chance!

The schedule for the weekend is as follows:

Saturday

Morning Registration: 8:00 am to 9:00 am

Racing and Telemark Clinic with the US Telemark Team: 9:30 am to 2:30 pm

Afternoon Registration: 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm

Athlete Meeting: 2:45 pm to 3:00 pm

Race Inspection: 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm

Racing!: 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm

Sunday

Registration: 7:00 am to 7:45 am 

Athlete Meeting: 7:45 am to 8:00 am

Race Inspection: 8:00 am to 8:45 am

Racing!: 9:00 am to 11:30 am

Registration Fees are as follows. Non-Passholder entires include the cost of a lift ticket.

Non-Passholder Two Day: $125

Passholder Two Day: $95

Non-Passholder Single Day: $65

Passholder Single Day: $50

Online registration will close Thursday, January 4th at midnight.  Registration the day of the event will take place at the mountain.  Registration and check in will be in the base lodge, downstairs.

ALL COMPETITORS MUST SIGN A USTSA WAIVER FORM AND A WEST MOUNTAIN WAVIER FORM WHEN THEY CHECK IN AT RACE HEADQUARTERS. You may print the USTSA waiver here and complete it before checking in Saturday or Sunday morning. The West Mountain waiver will be emailed to all registrants prior to the event and available at registration. Competitors under the age of 18 and traveling with someone other than a parent must have them signed prior to arrival.
