Conference Theme: Exploring the Intersections of World Languages

Keynote Speaker: Elicia Cárdenas- Elicia Cárdenas is a former middle school Spanish teacher with extensive experience teaching a variety of levels, ages, and subjects. Although she was trained as an elementary teacher, she shifted her focus to understanding second language acquisition and its application to classroom instruction in a world language classroom. Her areas of expertise include assessment with an equity lens and working to make sure all students are successful at acquiring another language. Elicia is the Director of Training for The Comprehensible Classroom founded by Martina Bex.

Dates of Conference: October 21-22, 2022
Location: The Hotel Morgan  and West Virginia University campus, Morgantown,  WV
DEADLINE to submit proposals: July 15, 2022 (Notification of acceptance by August 15, 2022)
