Survey for folks interested in the UUCR garden

With spring on its way and new ministerial candidates making unannounced visits to our church, it is a perfect time to spruce up the UUCR garden! Even small tasks like sweeping a sidewalk or carrying a bucket are helpful! Please respond to let me know if you can help and when. Or add any relevant comment at the end.

Here is a list of some garden tasks. Check anything you might be able to do!

Pick up clipped branches/stems/leaves and load into a bucket or wheelbarrow

Carry a bucket of garden waste to compost bins (up the path near the parking lot driveway)

Push a wheelbarrow of garden waste to the compost bins

Spread mulch that has been left in piles

Pull weeds from paths (Easy!)

Pull weeds from garden beds, with tools and instructions provided

Simple pruning, with tools and instructions provided

Sweep sidewalks

Use a lawnmower or weed whacker in areas near the parking lot

I can take waste left in buckets or wheelbarrows to the compost when convenient.
