Thanks for your interest in Takalam: Arab Youth of Oakland Speaking Up!  Takalam is a summer leadership and digital literacy program for Yemeni, Arab, Muslim, Middle Eastern & newcomer youth of Oakland to uplift voices for advocacy, representation, and civic engagement from June to July 2020.  Please complete this application by May 29th, and you may be contacted for an interview.  We encourage early applications, as interviews and hiring will happen on a rolling basis!  Please apply ASAP to secure your spot.  Contact lailan.huen@ousd.org with any questions, and visit ousd.org/apisa for more information.
