“We are using early access because we are a small startup, and RPGs are heavy in both content and systems. We have the baseline bones of what we want our game to be, but it will take time to develop a full, polished, 40 hour experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Here is a list of our currently planned differences between our original Early Access launch and our end goal:
-2 levels vs 8 levels
-5 playable characters vs 9 playable characters
-10 hours of baseline gameplay vs 40 hours of baseline gameplay”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“What we do have:
-2 fully functional levels, including enemies and bosses
-5 playable player characters
-Fully functioning crafting system
-Professionally made player and enemy models
-Approximately 10 hours of baseline gameplay
-The basic shell of the story

What we are currently lacking:
-The full party
-Professional animations, UI, particle effects.
-Professional dialog
-Professional sound effects
-75% of the game content (Levels, enemies, etc.)”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features leading up to fully launching the game.”

“We are eager to hear community feedback and will do our best to incorporate it while remaining true to our thematic and gameplay goals. We will be active in the Steam forums for the game as well as our dedicated Discord server to answer questions and respond to feedback!”

Though the Heavens Fall is a Christian game reminiscent of classic JRPG gameplay while presenting a perspective of the spiritual world using the Christian Mythos. One where God reigns supreme and though there is conflict in heavenly places, His will is imminent and unstoppable. The game while light-hearted and comedic in tone is backed by the reality that things in the spirit realm are real, our prayers have effect, and that no lesser principality will have its way forever.
