On Monday May 1, unions from across the Southland will come together in solidarity with other worker organizations for the annual May Day March & Rally in Downtown Los Angeles.
TAG is an official sponsor and partner in the May Day Coalition and we want to have our members turn out and unite!
This year's theme is "Solidarity is Power," a show of strength as Los Angeles workers continue to stand together, side by side to move forward the union message, labor movement and workers rights!
WHAT: Annual May Day March & Rally
WHERE: Start point is at Olympic & Broadway, DTLA (Carpooling or using the Metro is strongly suggested. The nearest station to the start point is either 7th St./Metro Center and walking from there or transferring to the Blue Line and taking it one stop to the Pico/Flower tram stop.)
ASSEMBLY BEGINS: 4 PM - Since this is at rush hour, please plan your travel time in advanced and give yourself plenty of extra time!
MARCH STARTS: 5 PM
ENDS WITH RALLY @ CITY HALL
