OCTOBER 12 - 14, 2020

Back for its 10th year, UCLA’s largest sustainability fair is now virtual! Get ready to follow along with sustainable tie-dyeing, garden-at-home, and zero-waste cooking workshops, tune into a recycling facility tour, learn about intersectional environmentalism, and meet student-activists from different UC campuses! Our events are free and open to any person regardless of affiliation to UCLA. We welcome all students, faculty, staff, and community members! Please check each topic to find its own registration link.

Let's Build Some Skills

WORKSHOPS DETAILS

Who would we be if we promoted sustainability, but didn't teach people how to live sustainably? Of course you can expect some workshops from us this year! Get ready to learn how to make a tasty, zero-waste brunch, how to naturally tie-dye clothing using food scraps, how your recyclables are sorted at a MRF, and how to do your own at-home gardening!

Leading the Way

EVENT DETAILS

If you're wondering what it takes to become a sustainability student-activist, then this event is for you! Meet five (5) students from different University of California campuses who have devoted their collegiate experience to creating sustainable communities. Come learn about their journeys and how you too can engage in activism as a student!

Social Justice is Environmental Justice is Economic Justice

EVENT DETAILS

Sustainability has been a field and movement with a history of exclusion and white supremacy. We are committed to centering social justice in sustainability spaces. Join us for an interactive talk with five (5) climate justice advocates that are making environmentalism a whole lot more equitable!

All Things Involvement!

RESOURCE DETAILS

We know it's hard to find way to stay engaged, motivated, and involved during COVID-19. This is why we've compiled information on how you can get involved with student orgs at UCLA and other community organizations offering volunteer, internship, and job opportunities!
