The Susan McIntosh Lloyd Memorial Scholarship has been established to encourage and support those living in Tinmouth who share Sue’s values and want to further their education. Sue valued making music and the traditions of farming and forestry. This additional scholarship-amount is ~$1,500 annually;
this amount is often shared among more than one applicant. College students pursuing this scholarship should indicate their course of study and how it aligns with Sue's passions.
This scholarship is for life long learners with a passion for:
- Music – consider taking voice lessons or instrumental lessons or pursuing another musical endeavor
- Forestry-learn more about forestry through a course, or chainsaw safety through the Game of Logging or another pursuit in this area
- Agriculture-consider upping your gardening game by taking the Master Gardener course, or a beekeeping workshop or other area like no-till farming, sustainable dairy or other opportunities to learn more on any aspect of agriculture.
Deadline for filing applications: April 1st by 11:59 p.m.
