I am looking forward to the start of school and working diligently with your children to ensure that our ensembles are the best that they can possibly be. 

Students are required to play at home a minimum of 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Please note that this should be completed during the course of the week, and not at the last minute At the beginning of the marking period, the grades on Genesis are worth a lot more than at the end of the marking period because there are less assignments.  One assignment in the beginning of the marking period can bring a 100 down to a 70.We try to look at the end of the road. Students are graded on:

• • 30%-Band Rehearsal Participation

  • 40%-Lesson Assessments

  • 30%-Tests, Quizzes, and Performances
