NEHS New Member Application
If you are interested in joining National English Honor Society for the 2020-2021 school year please fill out this form. Applications are due by Friday, February 5. The first meeting will be Wednesday, February 10 at 3:00 on Zoom.

Necessary qualifications for acceptance include:
1. Have previously taken at least 2 trimesters of English classes at Seaholm
2. Minimum overall GPA is 3.0 unweighted (check your GPA on Parchment)
3. Cumulative GPA in ONLY ENGLISH CLASSES is 3.5 unweighted (to calculate English-only GPA, add grades earned in English courses on the 4.0 scale, then divide by the number of English classes taken).
4. Have no academic misconduct reports for any class on record.

Once you are accepted, you will need to pay the $15 club fee (checks made out to Seaholm HS, and dropped off to Mrs. LaBond or the security vestibule) and participate in required community service hours related to promoting a passion for literacy, reading, writing, and communications. More details will be available at the February 10 meeting!
