Creating Quality Online SPS Courses, Wednesday, August 10, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM,  Brouster 010 *
This purpose of this session is to introduce you to a framework for designing or improving your online course. During this hands-on session, we will examine the SPS Quality Course Review Rubric.  We will examine effective online course design and generate a personalized plan for the development of your online course. Any remaining time will be devoted to participant Q & A.
Getting Started with SLU Global, Wednesday,  August 17, 2:00 - 4:00 PM PM,  Brouster 010 *
This session will provide a walk-through of many features of SLUGlobal.  You will learn how to customize your course, upload your syllabus, add announcements and make your course available to your students.  We will also discuss how to use introductions to create a sense of connection between the instructor and students.  Any remaining time will be devoted to the examination of online course design.
