SJD Equestrian will begin the Fall Session on September 14th and run until December 19th over a 14-week cycle. A schedule will be sent to all confirmed riders. If spaces become available, those on our waitlist will be contacted.

Riders will be working on their Equestrian Canada Rider Levels and as such a portion of the lessons will be covering practical and theory-based knowledge in the barn in order to prepare our riders for EC Rider Level Testing throughout the year.

All riders must bring their own grooming equipment, riding crop, lead shank/lead rope, riding gloves, a sponge for tack cleaning and proper attire. Cleaning of tack must be done after each ride and can be done before rides as well. Please bring a labelled spray bottle for disinfectant or fill your own. Disinfectant filling stations are available at the barn

We ask that all riders bring only one parent/guardian to maintain social distance between seating and in the barn. Masks will be required by all riders when not mounted on a horse and by all spectators when on the property. All people on the property must use the Top Entrance (Located near the Lesson Board) and sign in upon arrival. Barn COVID-19 protocols are to be revised as deemed appropriate by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit and Provincial Sporting Organization.

Riders and those on the property who have travelled outside the Simcoe Muskoka region within the 14 day period must communicate their travels to Susan Duncan to allow for risk mitigation.  Lessons can be rescheduled if provided 1 week's notice.
