Shmita Hives is a network of local groups exploring a shared curriculum that connects rest, vision, and embodiment with activism. Inspired by the Jewish concept of Shmita, the program is free to participants, and runs from September 2021 to September 2022. The curricula offers options for hives to study together, engage in reflective conversation, access play and embodiment, explore spirit and heart-based rituals, and create art. It also includes frameworks to support hives in practicing rest and collective care, identifying needs in their local community, and collaborating on social/environmental justice projects. You will receive a link to the curriculum when you submit this interest form.
