An out gay man of my father's generation, he was a mentor to me. A talented artist, his innovation and talents ranged across dance, theater and children's literature. Remy was more than inventive, he was fun, full of delight.
My goal for this show is to share a bit of Remy's special delight!

Additionally, all audience members will have the option of performing a section of Red Towel Dance, one of Remy’s Air Mail dances, during the program, from the comfort of their home.
Seth created Rainbow Logic to celebrate Remy's life and legacy. Remy's award-winning dance, choreography and children’s books inspire and animate this theater piece: a contemplation on the search for family through the reconciliation of self.
Mark danced in Remy’s Ten Men @ BAM in 1984. In this program he’ll be sharing excerpts he cherishes from Remy’s children’s books.
Nancy will be sharing excerpts of Remy Charlip Dances, which she created with him at WGBH in Boston, and Remy’s MEDITATION, which she produced with Remy for the Olympic Arts Festival in Los Angeles.
Lance and Patrick first danced together in Remy’s Ten Men @ BAM in 1984. Theywill presentthree of Remy’s dances: Bethoven’s 12 Contradances, and two duets created for themWooloomooloo Cuddle and Supreme Court.
