Important note (added on January 23 2021): This video was made with RStudio version 1.2. Visual R Markdown is now available in RStudio version 1.4. With Visual R Markdown, some skills demonstrated in this video might not be necessary to know anymore.
This video is very long and is meant for a beginner who is interested in following along as you make your first R Markdown file. Don't forget that you can pause the video or fast forward through the video to customize your viewing experience (spacebar to pause; arrow keys to move forward and back).
You can download an RMarkdown (RMD) file that is very similar to the one in the video at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IpKY... . Just download the file to your computer, copy/save it to your R working directory (folder where you do your data analysis), and then open the file in RStudio on your computer.
A different sample RMD file is available at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sWEf... . This one should knit (export) immediately on your computer, without the need to import an Excel file.
All materials for the course I teach are available here: http://tinyurl.com/he902stats…...more
