The Race for the Rivers featuring Bass Pro Outdoor Days:
August 24, 2019 10 am - 5 pm.
Join us on the riverfront at Frontier Park in St Charles for a full day of fun. This event is hosted by Greenway Network and is their primary fundraising and educational events. All funds raised support clean water programming throughout the Confluence Region including Mission:Clean Stream, Confluence Trash Bash, Dardenne Days and the Honeysuckle Hack.
Race for the Rivers festival serves as the finish line for two US Canoe sanctioned canoe and kayak races. Bass Pro brings their Outdoor Days displays and activities including a giant aquarium, kayak pool, giant inflatables, fishing pond, and much, much more. There is a full day of music, food trucks and beer. The Lewis and Clark Discovery Corps will be camped on site including having the Keelboat on the river. There is a full kids area and comfort station. Annual attendence has been between 2,500 and 5,000.
All spaces are 10 x 10. The fee is $25. Vendors are expected arrive with all vehicles out of the park by 9 am. You must have a fire extinguisher for your booth. All vendor booths (not affiliated with Bass Pro activities) will be along the river walk with plenty of shade. There is electricity available for most spots at a nominal additional fee ($5). Unfortunately, only service animals are allowed in the park during the festival. You are responsible for your own taxes. Food vendors must also pay the additional tourism tax with forms provided. Spots must be left clean and clear of all debris and trash. This is a family friendly event. All goods and services are expected to be kid friendly. Water and ice are available for vendors upon request.
Upon acceptance, you will receive a link to make your payment. Spots will not be reserved until payment is received. You will also receive a liability waiver. Waivers must be signed and returned to participate in the festival.
