To celebrate the August 3rd #SaveShenmueHD Tweetathon, we’re excited to announce a new contest that will run from now until the next Tweetathon on September 3rd.

The Mirror, Mirror Contest offers the chance to win a detailed, ready-to-paint model of Shenmue’s enigmatic Phoenix Mirror, as seen in the attached video.

To enter, we want you to design your own Shenmue-style mirror featuring any creature except for those we’ve already seen in the games (namely, the Dragon and the aforementioned Phoenix).

Your picture must be hand drawn or painted, with a photograph or scanned copy sent to teamyuneedsyou@gmail.com no later than September 3rd, 2016.

On September 4th a prize draw between the best entries will be held, and the winner announced on our @TeamYu Twitter account. If the Shenmue Heart of Gold campaign has passed a donations total of $500 by the contest deadline, the prize draw will take place between those judged the best three entries. Otherwise, only the top two will enter the draw.
