MIT Energy Club Vice Presidents (May 2021 - May 2022)
Vice President of Budget and Finance:
Oversees all sponsorship, budget planning, and execution for the club. The VP of Budget and finance works very closely with 2-3 sponsorship directors, and is in charge of ensuring that our three flagship events are fully funded, and operational. This is a great role for those looking to speak with, and work with companies outside of MIT.

Vice President of Marketing:
There are 2-4 VP's of Marketing. The VP's of marketing oversee MIT Energy Club's website, newsletter, social media, branding, and event promotion. You can find the MIT Energy Club on twitter, Linkedin, our newsletter, and our website. The marketing team will work closely with the entire campus community, and our flagship events to ensure all folks are in-the-know of the energy ecosystem.

Vice President of External Relations: (only 1 spot available, will work alongside Robert Cunningham)
Brings together the greater-than-MIT energy ecosystem, manages relationships with the Energy Club Advisory Board, and coordinates alumni outreach. You can find the advisory board here: https://www.mitenergyclub.org/advisory-board

Vice President of Community and Education:
Coordinates educational events for the MIT community related to energy including informal meetings, dinner series, coffee chats, lunch and learns, and other events. The goal of this role is also to ensure that all energy club members have unique forums to engage, connect, and ultimately are aware of opportunities and events put on by the Undergraduate Energy Club, Sloan Energy Club, and specific event communities. Also plans field trips! Trips to Solar farms, offshore wind farms, etc.

MIT Energy Club Directors (May 2021 - May 2022)
Sponsorship Director:
One of the most important positions in the club! Works heavily with VP of Budget and finance to manage relationships with club sponsors and raise money for the club. We can't function without you! This is the best role to talk to companies outside of MIT, and learn how to be a great salesperson! (Pervez's favorite role, and what he did 2 years ago!)

Social Director:
Works with Co-Presidents to foster a sense of community and inclusiveness by planning social events. We had lots of fun this year! 2022 school year will be COVID-free, and things will be back to normal. Activities include the Muddy Megawatt Hour, bowling, pizza hangouts, picnics in the park, etc. - you can be creative! :)
