MCF is pleased to announce its 2nd Ramadan Quran Competition, which aims to encourage community members of all ages to learn and memorize the Quran.
The competition will be held on Sunday, March 31st 2024. Exact timings and further details will be announced soon.
Contestants will be graded on three categories: Pronunciation of letters, Memorization, and Tajweed.
Below are the levels for the competition separated for boys and girls, and men and women. (Women in Levels 2-5 will recite to women only judges)
Registration is limited so please only sign up if you are able to compete. At the door registrations will not be accepted.

MUSHEN Category
Surah: Your choice!
For those in the MUHSEN category you will be reciting during the age appropriate level
Level 1: Boys and Girls: Ages 5 - 8
Surah: Al Mutaffifeen
MAX 30 REGISTRANTS

Kids aged 5&6 will be judged on a different scale then 7&8

Level 2: Boys and Girls: Ages 9 - 13
Surah: Surat Al Muzzamil
MAX 20 REGISTRANTS (20 boys & 20 girls)

LEVEL 2 GIRLS FILLED UP, there is a possibilty it might re open on Wednesday. Please check again then.
Level 3: Boys and Girls: Ages 14 - 17
Surah: Surah Al Hujurat
Max 15 Registrants (15 boys & 15 girls)

Level 4: Adults (Brothers and Sisters) Ages 18+
Surah: Surah Al Rahman
Max 15 Registrants (15 Men & 15 Women)

First Place Brothers - $50

Level 5: Hufath (Brothers and Sisters, any age)
We will randomly be picking from the first 1-10 (to the end of the 10th) Juz of the quran.
- Hufath are just expected to continue recitation from where they are asked. We will not be asking for the exact surah, ayah, and or juz.
