June 2021: Pearl of the World - Lower Secondary
“The world has enough for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed.”
 – Mahatma Gandhi
Highly participatory in nature, students will be exploring improvisation, character development and providing them with the opportunity to create, collaborate and physicalize their thoughts from a chosen literature text – The Pearl by John Steinbeck, a Nobel Prize winning author. This Mexican folk story has interesting characters, rich themes, and intense conflict that are waiting to be unfolded.
So, what would you do if your biggest wish come true?
