Hi there! We are so happy to see that you are interested in joining The Ziarat Project on this journey of exploration and learning!

As the spirit of Ziarat is to work with vernacular communities to create exposures of exchange, we have launched the Laghu Chitrakala Carawaan. It is a tailor-designed thematic residential workshop of exchange that will focus on the tools and techniques of cultural knowledge, local material dependent on ecology, used by Kangra Miniature Painting artists. An ineffably sublime experience of learning art from Pahari Miniature Styles which were visual interpretation of the poems of Bhanudatta, Keshava Das, etc. From the roots and depths of rustic India we bring you a scope of experimenting with somatic practices and miniature painting, which in some way influences one another in the process of creating art.

So here's a deal for you: Bring your sketch pads, musical instruments, diaries, and most importantly STORIES on this Laghu Chitrakala Carawaan and we promise to offer you an authentic experience revolving around these art forms. Please feel free to carry anything that you feel would enhance the experience for all of us.

DISCLAIMER
- You are responsible for yourself and your belongings for the entire duration of the Carawaan. The organizers are not responsible for any theft or loss of your personal belongings or for any personal injury caused to you. The organizers are also not responsible for any health concerns during or post the trip due to Covid- 19. We are trying our best to take precautions, and your help and cooperation is appreciated.

- If you have taken both the doses of the vaccination, please send us the picture of the certificate. If not, please bring along a Covid-19 negative report, which is not older than 72 hrs. There would strictly be no admission if neither of the documents is shared with us.

- Kindly stay updated while booking your Train/flight tickets. Stay healthy, eat greens. The organizers are not responsible for any unforeseen circumstances due to which you are unable to join the trip.

- If you have been previously tested positive, make sure you have completed the general self- quarantine time period of 14 days, and also given your body and mind time to recover. If your symptoms have subsided, you are most welcome. Take a test again, as the negative certificate is mandatory.

- Masks, and personal sanitizers are mandatory on the trip. Make sure you carry them. It's for your own safety, and for the safety of your fellow co- travellers. Little precautions can go a long way. You are requested to help us by taking necessary precautions and following all guidelines.

- We understand and appreciate physical intimacies (handshakes, hugs, etc.) but not at the cost of someone else's discomfort. Physical intimacy is bound to happen in the environment we travel in. But again, comfort of others is primary. Always ask for consent and communicate concerns clearly, if any.

- You'll be asked to discontinue the Carawaan if you are feeling unwell/develop Covid-19 symptoms. If you are found disrupting the safe and happy space during the Carawaan with your inappropriate words, actions and/or behaviour you'd be asked to leave the premises at that very moment.

- The Carawaan will not be cancelled or postponed under any circumstances, other than due to the unforeseen external forces. In case that happens full amount would be refunded.

- In cases of cancellation of the trip by the traveler, paid up amount stays partially refundable.

- Your partial amount will be refunded if there is a central or state lockdown anytime before the dates of the trip or if travelling is officially prohibited by the government. So you don't have to worry about your payment. In no other circumstances, the Carawaan will be cancelled, or the paid- up amount refunded.
Please make sure you carry Covid- 19 negative test certificate or the vaccination certificate of the second dosage.
