San Diego State University’s Undocumented Resource Area (URA) is hosting 1-hour Know Your Rights Workshops for summer 2019 term. All University, administrators, faculty, staff and student peer advisers are invited to participate.

In collaboration with the Jewish Family Services of San Diego (JFSSD) the Know Your Rights (KYR) workshops will be conducted by immigration lawyer and will offer valuable information on how to prepare if you encounter immigration (ICE) agent and general awareness of the services JFSSD offers to the community.

The goals of the Know Your Rights (KYR) workshop is to:

• Learn about the specific services offered at SDSU
• Understand how the US Constitution applies to undocumented folks
• Understand the different enforcement agencies
• Gain awareness on Emergency Preparedness Plan

The workshop is intended to be a safe space, open to all SDSU students, faculty, and staff.
