KDF World Kidney Day Virtual Race

In conjunction with World Kidney Day 2019, KDF is organising our very first Charity Virtual Race, in support of low-income dialysis patients.

Form a group of four, and run or walk at your own pace at any location, to collectively achieve a pre-determined distance. Distance clocked will have to be recorded using any run tracking apps with GPS function and subsequently screenshot and sent to us for verification.

Each team must complete the selected distance within 7 days, between 24 February and 31 March 2019. Teams also have the option of running more than the minimum required distance to vie for special awards such as the longest distance clocked by a team.

You can choose between two different categories:

12KM - A dialysis patient goes through dialysis treatment 3 times a week for 4 hours each time. Choose this category to run for the same amount of hours a dialysis patient spends on treatment every week.

23KM - This year is KDF’s 23rd anniversary. Celebrate 23 years of extending hope to low-income dialysis patients with KDF by choosing this category.

Influencer Award
Upload your run results onto your Facebook or Instagram* account with the hashtag #KDFVR by 31 March 2019. Top ten posts with the most likes will win special prizes. *(Note: Social media post needs to be set to public.)
