Food Future is a new event organised by ISPESC. The event aims to allow members to gain exposure to an alternative industry aside from the biopharmaceutical industry, such as the food industry, to broaden the scope of their future job search. The food industry is closely related to the pharmaceutical industry, with similar emphases on product safety and quality.
Today, there is also increased interest in food science research due to the growing trend among consumers to make healthier food choices and a greater acceptance of alternative plant-based meats. Hence, for Food Future, we invited two speakers from established companies to share their experience in the different aspects of the food industry (research & development, quality and manufacturing).
