MADISON, Wis. — One day after her campaign launch, Tammy Baldwin announced she has earned the endorsement of the IBEW Wisconsin State Conference.

The IBEW Wisconsin State Conference serves as the statewide representative body of 18 IBEW Local Unions who represent more than 15,000 members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

“The IBEW has consistently been able to count on Tammy who holds a 100% voting record on the issues important to our union,” said IBEW Wisconsin State Conference President, Dean A. Warsh. “Senator Baldwin for years worked to ensure that the Butch Lewis Act was passed and successfully included in the American Rescue Plan, saving the retirement pensions of tens of thousands hard working Wisconsinites; she voted in favor of the bipartisan Infrastructure Law that will create good-paying union jobs, the Inflation Reduction Act that will expand United States renewable energy generation, construction and manufacturing, and she supported the CHIPS and Science Act which expanded the use of federal Davis-Bacon prevailing wage protections.”

“Tammy has always been on the frontlines of doing what is best for Wisconsin’s workers and we believe will continue to be the best choice to represent our local unions, members, and all the working families of this great state. That is why the IBEW Wisconsin State Conference is proud to endorse and fully support Senator Tammy Baldwin’s re-election in 2024.”

“Working people of Wisconsin are the backbone of our state, and deserve a Senator who will take on the big fights for them every single day,” said Tammy Baldwin. “I’m proud to receive the support of the hardworking men and women of the IBEW Wisconsin State Conference, and I promise to keep fighting for Made in Wisconsin jobs and an economy that works for all of us.”

Tammy Baldwin has served Wisconsin in the Senate since 2012. She has worked with Republicans and Democrats to take on the biggest fights and win, passing legislation to promote Made in America manufacturing, lower the price of prescription drugs like insulin, and expand health care for veterans.
