HRI 2021 Summer Camp Application

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in the HRI summer program!

Our project will involve teaching various skill-based classes to students ages 4-21 during a summer camp in the villages near Meghri, Vardenis and possibly Artsakh. - *The Artsakh trip is OPTIONAL.

The camps will happen during the month of July 2021 (July 3-31), but to go to Artsakh, you will need to get to Armenia by June 29-30 to apply for a visa to get into Artsakh.

During the weekends, we will explore Armenia and Artsakh through a variety of touristic activities.

Eligibility
1) Over the age of 18 (We have raised our age requirement this year due to security reasons)
2) Will take a PCR test when coming to Armenia or show proof of vaccination

Desirable Qualifications
1) Have experience working in trauma-informed care
2) Have experience teaching or working with children
3) Flexible and adaptable to changes in plans and circumstances

Disclaimer: The Hidden Road Initiative will accommodate for your stay in Armenia exclusively during the weeks of the summer camp project. Weekend excursions and living arrangements for the rest of your time spent in Armenia are to be made by you.
