You are invited to nominate a superlative educator to this distinguished group of Northwestern graduates. Criteria for each category are below.

HALL OF DISTINGUISHED EDUCATORS Criteria for Nomination:
1. Must have earned an undergraduate or graduate degree from Northwestern State University.
2. Must have a minimum of 30 years of service in the field of education.
3. Must have made significant contributions to the field of education and/or the larger community at a local, state, national, or international level.
4. May be living or deceased.

OUTSTANDING YOUNG PROFESSIONALS Criteria for Nomination:
1. Must have made contributions in PK though higher education or to the profession of education through teaching, research, or community service.
2. Must be 45 years old or younger.
3. Must have at least 10 years of meritorious service to education and gained prominence in a criteria from #1.
4. Must have earned an undergraduate or graduate degree from Northwestern State University.

FRIEND TO EDUCATION Criteria for Nomination:
1. Must have made extraordinary contributions to the field of education, NSU School of Education, Gallaspy College of Education and Human Development, and/or Northwestern State University.
2. Ineligible for consideration to the Hall of Distinguished Educators.
3. May be living or deceased.
