The National Open Distance & eLearning (ODeL) in TVET Committee was set up by the Directorate of Technical Education at the Ministry of Education to coordinate capacity building on ODeL, among other activities. The committee is pleased to invite you to participate in the Facilitating Online Courses course, in partnership with Commonwealth of Learning (COL).

The FOC course is intended for both educators and managers who want to learn about flexible and blended approach to TVET. The course will be offered from April 5 -June 6, 2021. Those who are interested in participating are requested to enroll not later than Monday, April 5, 2021.

As enrolment for this course is on a first-come, first-serve basis, we would recommend that those who are interested register as soon as possible. Any questions about registration can be directed to Robert Okinda at odelsupport@kttc.ac.ke 

Due to the high demand for the course, kindly note that those who register and do not log-into the course by Wednesday April 12, 2021, will be unenrolled. Participants in the waitlist will then be added to the course.
Participants who complete all the activities and fulfil the requirements for the courses will receive an e-certificate.

Please note that this online course is exactly the same as previous FOC course run by COL. It is self paced, requiring commitment of approximately three hours per week. The course will be offered through the National ODeL in TVET Learning Management System (LMS) developed through support from UNESCO. A link to the LMS and joining instructions will be sent to those who complete this form. Please do not enroll and take the place of somebody else who would benefit from it if you have already done this course.
