The celebration of the 1st UP Baguio Environmental Month aims to highlight UP Baguio as “The Green Campus,” through environmental events that will engage the community, especially the Iskolars ng Bayan, to take part in these events. Furthermore, it also seeks to intensify campaigns for the climate and the environment.
In line with this, the UP Baguio University Student Council will be holding an Environmental Symposium on March 18 (Saturday), 1:00PM at the Himnasyo Amianan. The council has invited individuals who are dedicated in serving the environment to talk about topics such as the current environmental situation in the Philippines and the role women play in protecting our Earth.
