The Emerson Board is considering updating our masking policies for whatever stage of the pandemic we're in now. Please fill out the below survey by Sunday, August 6th if you would like to share anything about Emerson's masking policies and your thoughts on them with us (Clinton, Louise, Tracy, Aimee, and House).

How do you feel about the current state of masking at Emerson? Why?

In your day to day life, when around large groups indoors, which best describes you?

I almost never wear a mask indoors

I follow whatever most people in the group are doing (ie, I wear a mask when others are and don't when others don't)

I uaually wear a surgical mask

I usually wear a N95/KN95/KF94

How would you rate your general level of potential exposure to covid?

Low - I am rarely in groups and am usually masked

High - I am frequently around groups indoors and rarely masked

How would you rate your (and your loved ones') general risk level if you were to catch covid?

Low - I am generally healthy and not at risk of complications

High - I am at risk of complications and/or am immunocompromidsed

Are there changes you would like to see in Emerson's masking policy? Why or why not?

If you had to choose one of the below options, which would be your preference for our policy on masking during the service?

Leave as is - masking is required during the service but not strongly enforced elsewhere

Looser guidelines - for example, masking no longer required during the service

Tighter guidelines - for example, masking required during service and strongly enforced

If you would prefer a change to our current masking guidelines, is there a threshold [of covid cases or community spread] at which you would change your mind?

Is there anything else you would like to see implemented in terms of Emerson's covid policies or accessibility with regards to covid?

For example: masking on certain days / areas of the sanctuary, moving coffee hour outdoors, etc
