ISKCON Disciple Course - Request to attend
Hare Krsna. Please fill in this form to express your interest in participating in the ISKCON Disciple Course via Zoom. Even though this is a virtual event, it is still limited in terms of the number of participants that can be accommodated, due to the extensive group work involved.

COURSE INFORMATION
For those who may be unfamiliar, this course explores the guru-disciple relationship within the ISKCON context. It is meant to increase the understanding of discipleship and guruship within the ISKCON context, to better understand the position of Srila Prabhupada, siksa and diksa gurus and the way to relate within the ISKCON environment in terms of being disciples of various spiritual masters.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THIS COURSE?
Participants should be practising devotees who chant the Hare Krishna maha-mantra regularly. This course is a pre-requisite for any form of initiation within ISKCON.

COURSE FEES
There are no course fees. However, you are welcome to offer a donation to the facilitators and/or your local temple in appreciation for the service being offered.

COURSE SCHEDULE
Participation in all sessions is compulsory. The sessions will be held using the guideline below. However, there is a strong possibility that things may take more or less time than planned. We would appreciate all devotees being flexible in this regard as this is just a guide. Break and finish times may vary on specific days.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS
In order to participate in the Zoom sessions, it would be best to have Zoom installed on your device (Mobile, Tablet or Computer) to ensure you have the maximum amount of functionality available to properly participate. Breakout rooms will be used for group discussions and interactions. The course by nature is very interactive, thus being familiar with how to function on the Zoom platform will help. If you can get familiar with the Zoom platform prior to the course, that will assist. There will be a short session right at the beginning of the course to facilitate this. Your device would need to have a working camera and microphone (or headset). You should also have a stable internet connection with the required amount of data to be able to keep connected with video for the duration of the course. It is expected that you participate with your video on throughout the course.

COURSE MATERIAL
The Student Handbook PDF will be made available to you. It may be difficult to interact with this document in this format so you may want to get the document printed for easier use.
