Sep 28, 2022 to Sep 28, 2022
United Way of Muscatine is excited to announce the Fall Day Of Caring is set for September 28, 2022.
Our goal is to engage 300 volunteers in meaningful, hands-on projects that are hosted by local non-profit organizations.
Day of Caring exemplifies what it means to LIVE UNITED. It takes all of us working together to help create a healthy and prosperous community.
There are many benefits to your group uniting with the community on Day of Caring. Through your involvement, you and your team are able to assist an agency or a neighbor with a project that would not normally be completed due to lack of money, resources, or staff. When you build a team of committed volunteers within our community to serve, you show a spirit of compassion and unity to your customers that reflects the mission of United Way. We are excited about connecting you and your volunteers with our community partners on Day of Caring! All entries are due by 5:00pm on September 20, 2022.
On September 28, 2022, we invite all participants to join us for a drop-in breakfast from 7:00-8:00am at the Red Brick Building on the Riverfront.
Lunch will be at the Armed Forces Reserve Center (Muscatine Armory- 5901 US-61, Muscatine, IA) from 11:30-1:00. Please be sure to RSVP with the number of guests who will attend lunch. We will have a presentation at 12:15pm.
Thank you for choosing to LIVE UNITED!
