The JAX Chamber Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was founded in 1978 and serves Northeast Florida in funding workforce development, leadership and entrepreneurial education programs in support of long-term regional prosperity.
This program will focus on the methodology of Customer Development. A truly revolutionary program to the Northeast Florida area, Customer Development is the practice of gaining customer insights to generate, test, and optimize ideas for products and services. The Customer Development journey will focus on learning and discovery before execution, which is integral to building the products and services that customers want. It will also teach participants to avoid spending time and money on those products and services that customers have no interest in. The goal of the Customer Development process is simply to take the hypotheses about the business, products, and services as-is and see if there are customers and a market demand. Participants will be introduced to the Customer Journey Canvas Model, and the principles that guide the Customer Development Model. Through the process of discovery, testing, validation and execution, participants will learn about their potential customers, what those customers want, and how to provide more value to those customers.
