I stumbled on this book by accident when searching for a similarly titled book on Amazon. I downloaded the free Kindle sample.

When I finally took the time to read more than a page or two, I realized it was quite a bit different than any other spiritual book I've read. I have weeded through dozens of samples and books of "psychic memoirs" that are real snoozers and full of way too much ordinary run-of-the-mill stuff they all seem to contain.

This book, however, was a complete breath of fresh air. Isabeau's journey has been very different from every other medium or psychic out there. And she tells her story with a very entertaining realness that is unlike the overly sanctimonious or "spiritual" or self-important tone that most authors take. Isabeau is real, concise, and hilarious. She doesn't mince words or waste words or waste the reader's time with unnecessary details.

Mixed in with her smart-alecky tone is her growing compassion and ability to help others, and her compassionate understanding of their pain.

Most of all, she keeps it real, and fresh. There is no overlay of New Age woo-woo mumbo-jumbo, or Catholicism or Protestantism, or Buddhism or any "ism". Just that of a real down-to-earth mother and brass-tacks realist, who happened to crack open to (slowly) become a gifted psychic medium.

Well done, and recommended.
