OIBM II. Saturday, Nov. 5, 5-6:30pm. The Cushing Center. 333 Cedar St.
CORTEX presents, at the Cushing Center: Once in a Blue Moon, a monthly speaker series honoring the intersection of the arts & the sciences.
One night each month, we will host speakers, invite students from outside of CORTEX, talk about philosophy and science and art, eat desserts, and explore something together – whether that's nature art, mulled wine, a sketch of a labyrinth, or a shared story.
More on this event:
Join CORTEX for an evening of art, philosophy, and biology in the brain room. We'll have some refreshments and sustenance before heading inside to explore the Cushing Center’s brain specimens and to hear talks on painting the body, by YSOA student V Yeh, and cognition and linguistics, by Professor Elitzur Bar-Asher Siegal. 5:00-6:30 p.m. at the Cushing Center, 333 Cedar St.
