MAPA Draft Coordinated Transit Plan Public Comment Form
The Coordinated Transit Plan (CTP) sets regional priorities for investments and initiatives, provides guidance for local human service and transit providers to meet the needs of persons over 65 years of age and persons living with disabilities in the Omaha-Council Bluffs area. The 2022 CTP also serves as the federally required update to the 2017 CTP (link here).  The plan engaged the public through a series of stakeholder meetings, and online surveys to transportation providers and general transit and paratransit users.

Federal guidelines require a 30-day comment period to ensure the public has sufficient time to comment on the plan prior to final approval. Public comment for this plan will take place between August 26th and September 26th. As part of this comment period MAPA will be hosting a Public Open House and presentation on September 6th from 4:30-6:30pm in the Metro Transit Board Room. The Open House will be streamed on Facebook here for a 5:00 presentation.

Final Approval for the plan is anticipated to take place during the October 27, 2022 MAPA Board Meeting, after reviewing comments and making necessary adjustments based upon public feedback.
