Since Clean Virginia Waterways was founded in 1995, this annual volunteer event has kept nearly 5 MILLION pounds of litter and plastic pollution out of our ocean because of your dedication. |

This year on Public Lands Day, September 25, 2021 Assateague Island National Seashore will be having a beach clean up in the Virginia district of the island also known as the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. This year the National Park Service is hosting it instead of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. This is a GREAT place to help clean our beaches and ocean! |
